BREEZY VALLEY by Brij Kaul

The wheezy sneezy breezy

valley

forsaken decades yore

stealthily

under the cover of darkness of shitty

night

tears, lurking fears, tormenting heartburns

finally

soothing with the running

times.

breezy valley nestled among

the

gorgeous green mountain cliffs

mammoth charming Chinar

trees

swaying leaves in the cool morning

breeze.

The wheezy sneezy breezy

valley

forsaken decades yore

alas;

cannot be forgotten any

more.

The afternoon red sky

with

shady sunshine and drizzle

A real moment for to be in

trizzle

the mellifluous cooing of

Cuckoo, Mynah ,Thrush, swallow

the birds that flocked

my window sill

bringing

morning musical thrill

to the torrid ears.

the shepherds grazing sheep

on the rolling green hills of

Yusmarg

the beatific belles young

walking frisking in pairs

singing

gleefully the popular

folk songs

while crossing the

purring streams of

Tangmarg,

The wheezy sneezy breezy

valley

forsaken decades yore

cannot be forgotten any

more.

  1. Valley is a paradise on earth and it is too difficult to forget it. The article shows the inner expressions and feelings of the author in appreciating and remembering the valley, his birth place. Author is missing the golden past.

    1. Thanks Abhay ji for your comment, your encouragement is an epitome for me to work more. Idonot see any hope Modiji is re elected on religious basis and not on his achievements. so kashmir will be distant again.

      1. Those who ruled for so many years, If they had been elected on the basis of achievements still the kashmir solution eluded them.

National Security was also one issue that majority of the country voted for him!

Anyway, you are free to have your opinion. Love to see your article on recently concluded election and if time permits, please read my new poem.
