MY FORSAKEN LOVE

There is no one left to love me

anymore

my mum my dad went long back

ashore

Into the realms of times.

No one

to admire abhore

No one

to surprise surmount

No one

to surpass surmise

Lonely   I

drift around in the

alleys nooks corners

walk through the bushes

Into deep woods

Pass by the tall deodars

amongst the fragrance of

Daffodils, rambling roses, dewy dandelions

to

Seek my forsaken

love

Lonely I

drift around the placid brooks

With

a number of rooks

Perched

On the dense shrubs

Surrounding the rivulets .

Listening to the

Coo

of

cuckoo wren lark

lonely I

 drift around on and on

the crumpled leaves marshy verdure

watching the Nature’s magnificient

treasure

dark clouds looming overhead

the evening slipping into night

presenting a bewitching sight

lonely I

drift around to

Seek my forsaken

love.
