MY DAUGHTERS MY DAUGHTERS

My daughters My daughters

Lovely lissom ones

My daughters my daughters

Bright and beautiful ones

Reared with tender care

Tossing up the curly hair

Rollicking,frollicking nursing

On mum’s bosom

And horse riding on dad’s back.

Smiles on little faces

Lit up the souls

A moment of rejoicing

An hour of bliss .

Come, the age of teens

Wearing frocks and jeans

Aspiring to be beauty queens

And off to some fairy scenes.

Ah: Adolscence

Falling for the boys of choices

Any coaxing cajoling of no avail

Amidst soft raised voices

Forcing their ways

Merrily melting away

Into the arms of

Love.
